I seem to have recovered from the plague. No more licking doorknobs, I have learned my lesson. XD I am no longer launching into a fit of coughing, I am now just dealing with a bit of soreness in my left ribcage.
I had a wonderful Mother's Day, I got to spend with my children and my parents. It was quiet and calm and filled with leftovers.

A wonderful surprise greeted me in my mailbox and boy was I surprised. Not only did I win one of the prizes on the blogversary contest on Wanda's
site but there were extras. How I do love getting mail. I used to have pen pals, I think around 50 and we would swap all sorts of things. It was grand.
Trekking yarn...I have the perfect pattern I think for this yarn. The
Thelonius. One of these days I will start those. So many things to knit, so little time.

Also included were a lovely bottle of lotion from
Aribonne. Great line of products. I love their orange sugar scrub. One day I will acquire a jar. Until then this will satisfy me greatly.

Lastly, a bunch of nicknacks in a lovely little metal case.

They will fit wonderfully in my bag that I carry my knitting in.

So lately my projects have been put aside because I have finally started a knitted project with Noro. How great it is to knit with expensive yarns or at least yarns that are more than $5.00.
